The NBTA provides a forum for discussion of industry issues and facilitate an exchange of information between members, experts, policy makers, key decision makers.
The NBTA meets on a quarterly basis to discuss issues of common interest with a particular focus on safety, environmental and professional matters as well as land transport reforms and business issues. Our meetings and events serve as a platform for knowledge sharing in an environment that encourages open communication and debate to deliver solutions and improved outcomes. In addition to hosting regular face-to-face and online meetings. The NBTA hosts our major annual event Bulk Tanker Day. Bulk Tanker Day is an initiative of the NBTA and AFAC which provides the opportunity for industry, regulators and leading experts to connect, network and engage with fellow professionals working in and connected with the transportation of bulk liquids and the bulk tanker industry.
