Emergency Response for Dangerous Goods 2012

The Bulk Tanker Emergency Response conference for 2012 was held on the 6th September in Melbourne. Jointly hosted by the National Bulk Tanker Association (NBTA) and the Australasian Fire and Emergency Service Authorities Council (AFAC), the conference focused on sharing lessons and improving outcomes for emergency response. It was attended by 130 industry experts from across Australia. The presentations made during this day can be downloaded from this page.

This list will be used by NBTA to frame its on-going work program and in furthering discussions with emergency response authorities and agencies.

The NBTA will host two Emergency Response Events in 2013. These will be a practical emergency response exercise at Sandown on the 8th March and the annual Emergency Response Day Conference at Melbourne Park as part of Freight Week on the 5th September 2013.
